2,000 Push-ups

I did over 2,000 push-ups in eighteen days and raised $472. Thank you to everyone who cheered me on or donated. The Push-Up Challenge raised $3.8M for mental health in Canada.

The Push-Up Challenge is a free fitness event organized by the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) to promote mental health awareness and support. Participants are challenged to complete 2,000 push-ups over 18 days, from February 11 to 28, 2025, symbolizing the approximately 2,000 lives lost to suicide each day worldwide. Each day features a specific push-up target linked to a mental health fact, fostering education and conversation around mental well-being. Participants can join individually or as part of a team, and alternative exercises are encouraged to accommodate all fitness levels. While fundraising is optional, the challenge has raised significant funds for CMHA programs and services. The event also offers a free app to track progress, access daily targets, and receive mental health tips.

Let’s keep the conversation going!
